According to a 2018 National Association of Realtors report, only 2% of commercial real estate owners identify as Black. Only 0.7% of commercial real estate investors are Black women. These statistics highlight the need for greater representation and opportunities for Black women in commercial real estate ownership and the importance of addressing systemic barriers and promoting diversity and equity in the industry. Kafi Enterprise Solutions aspires to disrupt these statistics while addressing the barrier of access to funding for minority entrepreneurs, which historically prohibits growth into a physical brick-and-mortar business.
